Krasl Block Party – Rebrand
The Block Party is a kickoff party for the Krasl Art Center’s Art Fair on the Bluff in St. Joseph, Michigan. There was a team of people on this project, in charge was Mandy Lattin. I helped brand the party and developed the logo, as well as setup and run the party in 2015.
The team and Krasl decided to go with a theme of “Block Party.” This theme would include actual blocks, and decorations would use the square or cube shapes. The color theme of the branding would vary every year to follow the Pantone Color of the Year. Everything at the party would be coordinated with that color, and people attending were encouraged to wear the color, decorations and all branding would follow as well.
The Block Party logo required that the logo could be used every year, yet feature the Pantone Color of the Year. This was created in 2015, therefore, the color of Marsala (Pantone 18-1438) was used.
The above is the logo that would be used for the Block Party for years to come.

People were able to use #kraslblockparty to tag themselves at the event on Twitter and Facebook, and these are some of the images that were tagged.
For 2016, a gradient was used to incorporate the two Pantone Colors of the Year: Rose Quartz (Pantone 13-1520) and Serenity (Pantone 15-3919)
